It's that time of year again...
Time for the food unit! I am definitely going to be using the commercial and lots of the great ideas that readers left as comments, (so excited about this).
Something that I found last year worked really well as a warm-up exercise for students. There is all this amazing "food art" to be found on the internet. Last year I used a few of these pictures, and students had to look very carefully (some of it doesn't even look like food!) and identify the foods they saw.
