People are still making tons of comments about how the snow isn't "that bad." First, the puddles of slush that are a foot deep are that bad and driving is out of the question. Secondly, our boss, Mike, is really dramatic about snow days. Why bother putting anything on the web site until you know for sure? What...so teachers don't give "just in case" work to their classes? Bloomberg makes these decisions for Klein based on how much he can leverage the decision in the future.

It's odd how Bloomberg and company make these decisions. I've certainly gone in on days like today, only to find very few students. They ought to have some standard other than Mayor Mike sticking his finger in the air and deciding on the basis of who knows what.
